Above left, the full Ropner family 'Coat-of-Arms'. Above right, the Shipping Company house flag of Sir R. Ropner & Co. (Management) Ltd., Darlington, post WW11. William Ropner was the third son of Col. Sir Robert Ropner, 1st Bart., M.P., D.L., J.P. and was born in 1864. He married in 1894 Sarah, daughter of Ebenezer Cory. He was a J.P. (1900) for Co. Durham.
The badge (pictured right), complete with all bars, is also attributed to Miss Martin.
