![]() | FETE AT OSMASTON MANOR. | ![]() |
| The site of Osmaston Manor is situated approximately 1 mile south of Ashbourne, Derbyshire. This splendid mock tudor manor house was built for the very wealthy industrialist Francis Wright in 1849. The estate was sold to Sir Andrew Walker in 1888 and was demolished in 1964 on the orders of Sir Ian Walker. There can be no reason why all those attending this Primrose League Fete, at such a delightful residence, should not fail to have had a thoroughly enjoyed time. |
